FitBirth - The Prep To Push Antenatal Course
This course is prepare expecting parents to physically and practically for birth. We include the theory and practical application surrounding science of birth, including the anatomy and hormones.
Session 1:
Mobility for Labour and Birth Positions
“Labour” Simulated Workouts (training you physically and mentally)
Labour and Birth Breathing
Session 2:
Interventions and Assistance
Postnatal Recovery from 0-12 Weeks

FitBirth - Prep to Push Workouts
These are weekly supplementary classes dedicated to pelvis, and breathing preparation for the mother.
Any expecting mother can join from second trimester onwards.
It is recommended to do the Partner In-Person Antenatal Course First, or to subscribe to the online course.

This course spans over 2 consecutive weeks and include the anatomy and physiology of birth including the pelvis, pelvic floor and hormones associated with labour and delivery. Think of this as the physical and mental preparation for your birth and postpartum. It will include exercise, so please wear appropriate clothing.
This course does not provide medical recommendations. Although some information surrounding medical procedures will be included, all decisions should be discussed with your healthcare provider.
This course does not cover lactation or infant care.

Week 2 - C Section and Interventions, Postnatal Recovery & Return to Exercise -
Absolutely! We will cover different types of pain relief in this course, and when it would be recommended to use different pain management strategies in addition to pharmacological pain relief.

For those who are undecided about whether they will have a vaginal or c-section, this is the perfect informative course. It is designed for those who wish to try for a vaginal delivery, as the first 3 weeks will cover hormones and birth mechanics. Emergency C-Section and postnatal recovery will also be addressed in Week 4.
About Ziggy
Ziggy is a mother of three and has personal experience with vaginal delivery, emergency c-section, and VBAC (vaginal birth after caesarean).
Professionally, she has helped prepare hundreds of women manage their fears surrounding childbirth by helping prepare them physically through exercise, intellectually through the science of childbirth, and mentally through simulated labour training.
The goal is to have an informed and empowered birth.
